China Developed Spy Camera Which Can Capture Detailed Images Upto 100 KM

Scientists from China have developed a spy camera, which can see tiny details of an individual from space. This camera is developed by China academy of Sciences. It uses laser technology while the normal camesa uses lens technology to capture pictures. It can take detailed picture from upto 100km which is much better and clear than the normal cameras.
The camera was tested by looking across a big lake in China and could see details as small as 1.7 millimeters far away. This means it can help China watch other countries’ military equipment with great accuracy.
However, the camera works best in clear weather. Clouds or bad weather could make it harder to get good pictures. Since satellites usually orbit higher than 100 km, the camera’s real-life use might be affected by the atmosphere.
A similar technology is being developed in the United States by a company called Albedo Space, but their system will not identify faces.
People are worried about such powerful camera beacuse it can invade privacy and lead to constant surveillance. Groups like the Electronic Frontier Foundation say there should be rules to control how this technology is used. As spy cameras get better, the world will need to talk more about privacy and security concerns.
